MOA / MIL Calculator & Converter
Convert MOA to MIL, and turn a point-of-impact correction into exact scope clicks at any distance.
How it works
MOA (minute of angle) and MIL (milliradian) are the two angular units scopes use to adjust point of impact. This tool converts between them and tells you exactly how many clicks to dial to move your shots a given distance at a given range — no more guessing at the bench.
The key facts: 1 MOA is about 1.047 inches at 100 yards (most people round to 1 inch), and 1 MIL is 3.6 inches at 100 yards (3.438 MOA). Most MOA scopes adjust in 1/4-MOA clicks and most MIL scopes in 0.1-MIL clicks. Enter how far off you are and the distance, and the calculator gives you the correction in both units and in clicks for your turret.
Educational estimates only — always verify zero and data by shooting, and follow all safety rules.
