Patterning Flite Control buck in a Mossberg 590

Mossberg 590 + Federal Flite Control 00
40 rounds fired7-15 yardsby Gunasktester
Set up a home-defense 590 and wanted to actually pattern it instead of guessing. Fired 40 rounds of Federal Flite Control 00 buck at 7, 10, and 15 yards. At 7 it is essentially one ragged hole; at 15 it is still a tight fist-sized group, every pellet on a sheet of paper. Recoil with the reduced-recoil load is very manageable. This is exactly why you pattern your gun: I now know my pellets stay together well past any in-home distance. Highly recommend confirming yours the same way.
