Is the Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6 good enough?

Want my first LPVO without spending a fortune. Is the Strike Eagle 1-6 actually usable or should I save up?

The Strike Eagle 1-6x is the gateway LPVO and it is genuinely good for the money — true 1x for both-eyes-open speed, 6x for reach, an illuminated BDC reticle, and Vortex lifetime warranty. Premium glass (Razor, Trijicon) is brighter and crisper at 1x, but you pay several times more. For a first LPVO on a do-everything carbine, the Strike Eagle is a smart, low-risk buy. Get a quality 30mm mount with it.
