Is the SIG P365 reliable enough to carry?

I've heard about early P365 issues. Are current ones reliable enough to bet my life on?

The very earliest P365s had some teething issues years ago; current production has a long, solid track record and is carried by huge numbers of people daily. As with any carry gun, the rule stands: run a few hundred rounds through YOUR specific pistol, including 1–2 boxes of your actual carry ammo, before trusting it. Do that and the P365 is a proven, reliable EDC.
